Posted by Smart Education Charitable Foundation (Jun 29, 2021)

The final competition and prize giving ceremony of the 13th English Radio Drama Competition for Schools, organized by Smart Education Charitable Foundation and sponsored by SCOLAR, was successfully held via Zoom on June 26, 2021.

Due to the pandemic situation, the live performance of the final has to be held online, but thanks to the great support from principals, teachers, parents and students, the competition continues to receive very positive feedback and participation from schools. 12 teams were shortlisted as finalists and they are judged by their live performance in the final competition via Zoom. THE 13th ENGLISH RADIO DRAMA COMPETITION 2021
Workshops on Script Writing and Voice/Sound Effects

Posted by Smart Education Charitable Foundation (12 Apr 2021)

To help students better prepare for the final round of the competition, Smart Education Charitable Foundation hosted two Radio Drama workshops on April 10th via Zoom. The workshops, conducted by Mr. Kristopher Jordan from EF English Centers, gave insight on how to write narrative effectively, utilize voice acting and sound effects to boost storytelling and engagement. The workshops helped over 150 students understand more about the features of radio drama and the skills that are required to make their performance more presentable and outstanding!
